When your adventure is as much about the journey as the destination, the Patrol is one of the most versatile splitboard you can find. When Endeavor took to the drawing board to come up with a split board they had a few simple goals. Make a split that could take you to new places and make it perform like a dedicated powder board on the way down. In order to achieve this they started with the tried and tested platform of the Maverick. This has resulted in a board that is capable seeking out untracked backcountry lines in the morning and then riding back through resort in the afternoon to get back to the hotel. The Patrol has a subtle 3mm taper from tip to tail that noticeably improves soft snow performance without sacrificing balance when hiking uphill. A simple 2 inch setback elongates the nose whilst their Hover Camber profile acts like the hull of a ship, keeping you on top of the deepest soft snow. Stripping things back and you’ll find a Poplar and Paulownia blended wood core that is lighter but with a greater strength to weight ratio then other options. Saving your energy on the up so you can enjoy the uncompromised down ride. 2 carbon beams are also added into the tail, extending from the waist. This further improves balance and gives plenty of support on steep hikes. It also helps support and performance when slashing turns and dropping cliffs.
