** This is a Split Board **
The big gun float with small stick quickness of the Burton Spliff is the result of a Rad-uced profile that allows you to downsize 8 to 10cm from normal length. Think of it as the stepchild of the extra-nimble Nug for a split shortboard that brings a new type of fun to backcountry features. The upgrade to The Split Channel eliminates the splitting headache associated with most splitboard setups, allowing for the easiest stance setup and adjustments possible with compatibility that works with any binding (not just Burton’s). A sustainable FSC™ certified wood core and recycled PET topsheet enhance performance and positive feelings.
The Spliff has an S-Rocker profile. A rocker shape at the nose curves into a cambered tail, creating an ‘S’ shape. This design causes lift in the nose, improving float while maintaining speed through deep pow turns and variable conditions. This is a directionally shaped board with directional flex which means that the nose is softer than the tail and the shape is different from one end to the other. The Spliff has a medium stiffness which means more responsiveness and control than softer boards but easier to bend and not as unforgiving as stiffer ones.
