The Crispi Shiver NTN is designed for resort skiing and also for backcountry telemark. The shell and hinge section of the boot have a soft flex which is a good choice for telemark skiers who are looking for an all mountain model. The Shiver's shell has good torsional rigidity thanks to the Crispi Carbon Side Support design. The carbon reinforcement enveloping the heel of the shoe and offering excellent lateral rigidity. The bellows are built with different densities and thicknesses of Pebax compared to the main shell provide progressive forward flex and efficient transfer of force to the ski.
