The Shorty has a full perimeter beveled base, designed to make it more difficult to catch an edge, when turning or hitting boxes and rails. The biax glass, mellow torsional flex and zero camber make this board forgiving as possible, yet gives the rider all the tools they need to advance their level of riding.

The convex base means the edges are raised all the may around the board making it harder to catch an edge whether it your first day on the mountain or you first day on a box.
